The Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas have close relations with a huge number of national entities, with more association in the central provinces of Cuba. His current model is about a national, modern, humanist, scientific and technological university; highly relevant in the society and according to the sustainable development of the nation.
The development level achieved by this institution has allowed it to have one of the most stable and multidisciplinary staff and researchers in the country, with 1028 Associate and Auxiliary Professors. More than 80% hold the category of Doctor or Master in Science, with 487 and 829 respectively.
